I have not been this excited about an event in years! No, really!  Back in England I used to organize events like this and I have finally found a location that suits my needs in the Bay Area.  A complete community space.  No corporate tie ins. No noise restrictions. A state of the art sound system.  Full lighting system.  Projector for liquid art films.  The first time I walked into the Nexus in Point Richmond, it felt like entering the Buddhist section of the Victoria Albert museum.  We can open the curtains for glorious light in the morning session and create a warm cocoon for the second half of the day.

Morning Session
I will collaborate with live drummers and didge players for the morning 2 hour lead vinyasa flow class.
Then play the original music for the 1hour Kundalini Meditation as taught by Osho. Osho Rajneesh was (and still is) a very popular and controversial Indian mystic who believed that "spiritual growth requires our FULL energy.  This can be accessed only when our repressed emotions, blocked sexuality, unconscious psychological patterns - jealousy, comparison, inferiority, guilt - have been brought into the light of awareness and dissolved" (Dillion, A. 2005).
Osho developed the kundalini meditation among many others techniques to address this "stuck energy".
The activating hour consists of:
15 mins Shaking your body -  no pattern
15 mins Free form dancing - no pattern
15 mins Sitting mediation
15 mins Lying down (shavasana)

Lunch
catered by my friends "Radiance Cuisine" (who also serve at Open Secret Bookstore) serving authentic Indian vegetarian delights
Afternoon Session
To let the food digest - Vlad Cardema and I will give a didge sound bath meditation ritual.
Then an instructed partnered experience of learning the essence of Traditional Thai Massage.  Essentially this is Yin yoga in which you will learn special pressure point release methods for unravelling tension in the muscles. Bring a partner or find one - i will ensure the space is non-threatening and as always FUN!

    Grapefruit.

Grapefruit is a refreshing and revitalizing essential oil that can help boost the body's feelings of energy and happiness.
Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) belongs to the Rutaceae plant family; it is thought to be a hybrid of pumello fruit (Citrus maxima) and sweet orange (Citrus sinensis). Grapefruit is native to tropical Asia; it is believed that the pumello fruit was brought to Europe by early medieval Arab traders and cross-pollinated with sweet orange in the West Indies, where both plant species were introduced, resulting in the birth of the grapefruit. However, there are no records to verify the grapefruit's exact origins.
Similarly, there are no clear records indicating the historic uses of this plant oil; however, many believe that grapefruit oil was used in baths to treat the skin, enhance the appearance of people's hair, and possibly as a cleaning agent. The cultivated grapefruit tree grows to over 33 feet in height; it has green, glossy leaves, large, round, yellow fruits and white, aromatic flowers which are star-shaped. Grapefruit is known as a 'happy' oil due to its uplifting qualities and is liked by children for this reason; it is said to improve concentration and self-confidence. It is used in aromatherapy spa treatments to improve lymphatic drainage and to ease muscle stiffness, by dispersing lactic acids.
California is the main producer of grapefruit essential oil. In Israel, grapefruit is used for many ailments and is treated with the same respect that lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is given by the English.
